Such a long time since i have blogged. *blow off dust*
I am now in Suzhou for the 5th day. One thing i can say is that the traffic conditions in Suzhou is "marvellous". The taxi drivers rock man! The weather now is currently at about 20 degrees. Next week's weather forecast the temperature is going below 10 degrees! shiock.

Lets look back on the past few days what happened.

Day 1: 20 October 2010, Wednesday
The group met at the airport at 6am. Check in, took group photo and said good bye to our parents which we will not be seeing for the next month. Kinda miss then yea. The flight was about 5 hours. Ate, watched "The Future X Cops" onboard. When we reached Pudong airport, there was a further 3 hours bus ride to the Suzhou Industrial Park.

I was kinda shocked at the living conditions on reaching the place. It was like a construction site that we were living at. The building for the international students were not ready yet. We were brought to the hostel that we are going to live in for the next 1 month. The floor was dirty, beds are made up of "5 level architecture" style. Means that you are given some materials and you have to "create" the bed yourselves. We had dinner at the canteen. First day not used to it. The food was salty and oily. Dosent look appealing at all.

After dinner, we went back to our hostels to clean up the room. We spent around 2 hours to clean up the whole place. Afterwards, its bed time.

Day 2: 21 October 2010, Thursday
Woke up at 7am in the morning thanks to HQ. Washed up and went for breakfast with my fellow Suzhou mates. Had some vegetable pau. Afterwards, its a tour of the area in the School. This school is sure huge! I'm sure that this school is at least twice the size of NYP! I shall not complain anymore when walking from north canteen to south canteen.

After having a tour, we went to visit the "musesum" of the suzhou industrial park. It had many pictures of Lee Kuan Yew inside.
Had cup noodles for afternoon. The cup noodles taste much nicer than the canteen food. After lunch, we were shown our labs and had a cultural talk in it. After the cultural talk, we had to clean up our labs as it was dusty and dirty from all the construction.

Dinner was at the local restaurant down the road of a 10 mins taxi ride. It costs SGD 4 for a 6 course meal. Cheap

Day 3: 22 October, Friday
Tour to a water village in Suzhou. Will upload the pictures when they downloaded from my camera. Went to Guang Qian Jie (Shopping district, something like orchard road) for dinner and ate pork noodles. Bought a bag for only SGD 7! cheap! Had a hard time getting a cab back to the hostel that we stayed in. The traffic condition is crazy. But the taxi drivers rock!

Day 4: 23 October, Saturday (Own Time Own Target day!)
Woke up at 730 am and went for a jog at the stadium with Galex, Gilbert, Fuji and Yi Jie. This is the first time that I went jogging at such a kind of weather. Sure is shiock man. Sweat abit only. Afterwards, its shopping time at Guang Qian Jie. Had lunch at the local pizza hut restaurant. Abit expensive tho. But it feels better than the canteen food. After lunch, shopping time!

Bought a belt and a shirt to keep warm for the following weeks. Sunday is the day that we are going to start doing our project. Yawn. Going to the world expo on monday.

just came back from mayflower sec 4D chalet...
not many people went so the total price increased from 25 to 30++
nowadays, it is hard to find cabbies that take 5 people instead of 4 in a taxi...
there were 9 of us and we wanted to split into 2 cabs, so 1 cab will have 5 ppl and the other will have 4...
when i asked the driver whether he would take 5 people in a cab, he said"wait till u are the president then can..."
then i said"i am the president now(hahahaha)"
then later he said" no la... cannot take 5 ppl..later get caught..."
so later we settled for 3 ppl in a cab and went home...

A new year 2009!
2008 has really passed so quickly, sometimes you dont even feel it.

There are many projects going on these weeks.
Econs, management and java.
I really hate the java project man...

You got to write the entity class for each of the tables in the database, copy the product class from the CMS and change some of the codes inside.
Sounds easy right...But after changing them, you run the java class and then find out that there are many errors.

Sometimes you spend hours correcting them, the error never seem to go away. Try and try again, but there is still no sign of "correctness of the code". It seems error-free on the outside, but the error will lie "inside" and it will only show up only if you run the program.

And i really hate fridays. From 8 to 11, java tutorial/pratical.
Then rest 1 hr. From 12 to 2pm, java project tutorial.
Then rest 2 hours.
From 4 pm to 6 pm stats lecture.
What a day!
Coming next monday the first lesson would be japanese language at 10 pm. At least monday is not so bad as compared to friday. School starts at 10 am, ends at 4 pm.

I have downloaded Internet Explorer 8 last night. The loading of the webpage is abit slower compared to IE 7.

i spend today, and the weekend playing need for speed carbon.

my nokia phone's abit crazy, but now i have changed it to a spare phone at home.

Today I went to study with Gilbert and Manfred in school.
As usual, Gilbert ROFL-ed. Will post the roll on floor videos next time.
Actually I dont really quite know what was he doing on the floor. Ask him next time.

The semester exams are coming really soon, starting exactly one week from now with c maths being the first paper. Then Essentials of IT and so on...
Frankly speaking, I've forgotten most of what Scott Jones taught on web app. Especially the JavaScript thing. zzz... Must go back to the lecture notes and "reinstall" the information again..hahas...

but some things are not as good. Like Biz Comm.
for the 3rd ICA, the overall grade was a F.
the ICA was in 2 parts, 3A and 3B.
3A is the grammar test which i failed.
3B is the argumentative essay and I got 40/50.
Ivan was calculating how i got an F grade and he said that it was impossible to get an F grade.
the most jiat lat situation would be still a pass.
i think Viven calculate wrong ba...haha...
hopefully so...

then later was c maths test on differentiation
and then later at 4 plus is the accounting ICA
3 ICA's in a day!. The last time that there was 3 exams a day was when o levels.

i went to CMS to try out the grammar exercises but i still got alot of wrongs...Alamak...how ar...die.The weather now is quite cool. Just rained not long ago and I like this cool weather instead of the sunlight...How i wish there will be snow in singapore someday...shiok!!!
I thought that the DSPT pratical submission was to manually type in the java codes into the computer but LKP said on monday's lecture that it was to write out the codes on paper!
What if write wrong how ar...

The semesterial exam is coming up in 6 weeks time...(if i didnt remembered wrongly) time flies you know... before you knew that 6 weeks had passed, it is already time for exam.

what a tiring week...
didnt sleep well these few days.
mainly two reasons: Weather too hot and ICA's that make me cannot sleep well.
at least there was two ICA's cleared today, java and maths.
on monday there will be Biz Comm argumentative speech

i found this 5 liter soy sauce and dark sauce at giant.

1 giant bottle costs 10.50

ok...so now i've got the adobe cs3 web premium...

so today i had the Data Structure and programming techniques aka Java pratical submission.
i pratically did not know anything about or how to do it.
at first i wrote the program...that could work.
then...com hang.
i restarted the com then went to open the project.
this time the program i wrote cannot even run properly.

I tried to change some of the things inside but it even became even worse.
at the last few minutes, i copied the program from boon kiat.
at least i tried...but failed...

phew...today's DSPT quiz was quite ok... except that the spot the error in java was quite screwed up...i only can spot the first one but i cant spot the second one untill the test was over then i looked at the book and i realised the mistake...zzz...

at least next monday is vesak day and there is no school!!!

school has already started for 1 week...
yar as usual... the teachers would tell you when the exam is coming this and that...
i decided to join badminton as my cca...
but see how it goes...maybe i will quit after a few m0nths?haha...
the school's offering the adobe cs3 web premium package which comes with dreamweaver etc...
costs about $88.30 if you buy from school.
i checked through the internet and found out that it actually costs 1,000++ for the same software.
should i buy? offer ending soon...
tomorrow school starts at 12 noon..(thats great coz i can sleep untill very late)
the first lesson is a 1 hr lecture about data structures and programming
then its biz communication and accounts for the rest of the day untill 6pm...

came back from class chalet at about 9 am++
damn tired sia....
actually i didnt want to stay overnight,
but czz persuaded me to
spent most of the time playing czz's xbox
i've learnt 1 lesson that booking taxis in the morning is not cheap.
From the chalet at aloha loyang to pasir ris mrt,

booking fee:$4.50(around there)
travel meter: $3.20(about that price)
total cost for the less than 7 min ride: $7.70++

walau... if take all the way home the ride will cost more that $30 man...
anw, i slept from 10 am to 2.30 pm but i still feel tired...

My computer is alive again! Dont know what sort of virus attack the computer system, in the end my father got a anti virus software to get rid of the virus .But startup is very troublesome,takes ages to start.So i decided not to switch it off.Computer is also starting to lag.zzz...It also takes ages to load cs, halo etc...

Went to ikea and courts to buy a new computer table with my family yesterday.After walking for so long, no computer table was suitable.Either too tall or too short or too small or too big. Anyway ,going to sitoca to buy one.They have many designs which are quite suitable...

Wow,look at how time has passed! Its already going to december and o level has already finished.Last night was prom nite.There was a lucky draw and i got the 2nd prize...A fan. I hasnt started using it yet and it is sitting in my storeroom...collecting dust? maybe...I have enough fans at home and in fact there are too many.The food at marina mandarin was ok.The first dish was brought in by the waiters, and they did a short dance on the stage but one guy dropped a fried prawn on the floor...Then there was sharks fin soup, chicken,fried noodles etc...Went home in a cab with nicholas and wei jian total cost was about $ 10 like that when it reached my house...I do not really regret going to prom, as it would be one of the last times that you are going to see your secondary school classmates and if they do not go to the same poly, you would probably never see them again... my computer have recently been acting up, this morning when i started it up, was still ok then when i was using it halfway, there was a black screen.Argh...i need another ram to boost up com speed also!!!I intend to start working in december after coming back from my holiday if i can find a job...Any recomendations?I think that this is the longest post that ive ever written...

Today was the "last day" of secondary school...Still have to come back to school for o levels anyway... lol... There was a graduation ceremony for all the sec 4s and 5s...Followed by a lunch buffet at the canteen.After lunch then proceed to the hall and the teachers would then give out all our report books with the prelim results inside...zzz...didnt do so well this time.Anyway, there is still time to buck up...People wouldnt care how you start off the line but the most important thing is how you would end at the finish line.With this short post, i wish all who are taking o levels this year good luck and all the best!!!
(I also wont be updating so often untill o levels are over =p)

Wao.The whole day today was almost raining...when i was going to school, i didnt know that it was raining.So i walked out of my building without an umbrella.Then i felt raindrops falling down...It was actually raining heavily.When walk untill the bus stop i already miss the 132,165 and the 76...wait for about 10 more minutes then there was a single deck 76...the bus was packed at the next stopand there was a aunty that wanted to get down the bus,she open her umbrella and the water splashed on me..zzz... Today at class the first three periods was maths then two periods of kaya roti...Zzz...her lesson is the most boring de lor...gurantee sleep.Chua also did not come to school today so english period sit in the canteen to talk lor...In the afternoon supplementary lesson was poa, by kaya and no a maths...I'll hope that it will rain through the night so that no need to switch on the air con...=p

Today during pe play badminton for about 45 mins plus without resting.Imagine not playing badminton for the past year and suddendly play for 45 min straight.I cannot even copy a proper essay for geography.Hand too tired (and also lazy to copy);even when I am writing my post my hand keep on shaking...Last week I felt tremors when there was an earthquake at one of the indonesia islands...when i was doing my own stuff upstairs, i felt my chair moving.Then i thought i was just imaging something but it was real.My fish tank water was shaking like crazy.I wonder that those people that live at the Toa payoh 40 storey building at the 40th storey shake like siao lor...lol..

Just now played cs when i got home from tuition...score was 2 to 11...lol...lose like hell...
Yesterday downloaded audition and then play audition with alvin...of course la...i just started and that alvin score of course better than mine by dunnno how many times..My com's ethernet card sometimes cannot detect the connection to the modem...maybe the card is loose coz that time i buy from the shop they didnt provide screws...lol...now and then must open the cpu and thighten the card...

Yesterday was the last day of common test...Today most of the sec 4 classes had common test maybe except our class...(not so sure). Today Moo ask us to fill up and write whether we would want ot retake chinese. Haiz...what to do? with my kind or resulta must retake lor...bo pian...zzz..I think that i wrote a damn crappy compo that pulled me down....After school had maths and geography supplementary class...Nothing much...During maths just did the school paper...Yesterday had my english oral.. Hmm...national day celebration in school today. Can wear anything. Shiok! Yesterday leau said that today will have chemistry lesson but in the end tio cancelled. Reason?dunno. After that went ot the bus stop with the usual gang, then i saw nicholas and chong junn they all, they say that today they want to play soccer in school at 1.30 pm with other bb boys so i joined in...First went to amk hub to eat and play then went back home to change clothes. Reached school at about 2++ then they already want to start liao. The officer was the instructor, then though us how to play that kind of thing lor...The last fiftteen min then play match. Lost 1-2 to the other team...Tomorrow is singapore's birthday and then got one day holiday.The next week that go to school is common test.zzz.The next next week is prelims liao.so fast!!!

o.o...mid year exams coming after national day.Received the exam time schedule on friday morning...Today while opening the can of canned food, i accidentally cut myself with the sharp edges of it.Just a small cut but i cant type fast..zzz.The whole day was cold, cold,cold...the temperatures in the bus were freezing...the tuition teacher house the air con also on so high...But i enjoy this weather...cooling and not hot...woo...hopefuly this weather can continue...Played cs just now for 1 hr++. Killed abut 70+ppl...not bad for a beginner...lol..Going to do maths now...This time must pass both.Cannot fail!!!!

Played cs when i got home today.As usual played the terror side...not bad...at least i got some improvement.Played untill the com screen contrast keep on going down...even now as i am writing this post i must on and off the screen...zzz...must but new one or can somone repair it?com is already nearing 6 years old liao.Sometimes lag like siao.graphics card also too old liao.RAM not big enough...Today at pe we played the game that our group invented...not bad...but i keep on dying...zzz...after school decided to pon ah leau's chemistry. Today mrs ess did not come, so leau took over her period...Three periods of chemistry can kill.BORING...Slept halfway during the lesson. When i woke up alvin gave me my chem test results.fail.zzz...never study hard enough.Thought i can pass but in the end cannot. Nicholas even got 20 marks out of 30...the tuition really proved good.I also recentally went to that tuition from 6-9pm. Both physics and chemistry.The chinese teacher also got really angry today when she ask us to pass the paper around we didn...i think so...she went on to do the chinese newspapers after that...
Planing to change blogskin but dont know what skin to change to.Anyone any recommendations???

Today no need to go to school...yay...yesterday overslept and i didnt go to the KBCC family day.When i woke up, it was only 5.50am in the morning. Then i thought that it was still too earily to go for shower then i continued to sleep. By the time i woke up, it was already 8.30.I i alro heard my handphone ring. What a week...So busy and so much of homework to do...so many supplementary classes...Today after school xXx and i went to fiand teachers.xxx say he one person go got no fun so he pull me in lorr...at first we go find kaya roti.Then she say that she got no time and need to go and attend meeting.Then after that go find ah leau.xxx was asking leau about what is combustion so i told him that xxx+oxygen=water+carbon dioxide...lol... Ah leau was marking the 4A files and she say how neat and complete they are... every chapter still got tab,all the questions almost all correct one lehh...talk for about 1 hr like that then go home liao...hmm... going to change blog skin..but dunno what skin to choose from...

Start of term 3. Back to school.Homework starting to pile up. Teachers start nagging at us to study hard...blah blah blah.Tomorrow also hace the o level chinese oral. Before that I need to go for speech day. I think I have attended more than 5 rehersals. They are a complete waste of time. Zzz...I finally passed my 2.4km run for the nafa on wednesday. End result?Leg damn pain. After that still have to go for speech day. Wait for the principal,sac chairman and the goh for so long. Cant they just be fast and walk faster? Consider for those people standing on the parade square and getting themselves baked in the hot sun. Tomorrow is the actual day. Must report to school by 7.15 am. Do uniform check etc...Actual parade starts at 9. I think so...Tomorrow those not involved in the speech day need not come to school. so shiok! Today I went for the speech day rehersal from 9 to 1 then after that had drill practice untill 3.I totally forgotten that today have the girl guides campfire and i also didnt go anyway...Go there do nothing and sing song only like that lor...One whole month of june holidays now left only with two days.Sian man....after that school teachers would be pushing like hell for our o levels.This holiday spent the first two weeks going to school almost everyday and then the third week i went of for holiday. And then the fourth week go for tuition and those speech day practices...O level chinese and english orals coming up at the third week of the third term.Must start reading more chinese and english newspapers.

Finally, chinese o level finish liao. The long awaited finish... waa now no need to study chinese.Tomorrow still need to go to school, got physics,english and poa. Lessons are so boring for the first four periods of the day man..Four whole periods of chinese either doing paper 1 or 2... Zzz.. Tired seh... I also couldnt finish both the questions that teacher gave me then recess liao mah, so she tell me to give her 2 bucks then can go off then tomorrow then pass up. This is called money makes the world go round mah...got money got talk, no money no talk... but anyway she will give me back the money tomorrow when i hand up the compo. Talking about that, i also dunno where i put the paper liao...die... must go find.Then today after school got supplementary class actually got poa and ss. After poa we went for ss at the lecture theater then after a while selva dunno talking wad then everyone cheer, I was about to zzz liao then they all tell me that can go home liao.Woot!!! so happy man... Finally one week of exams had passed. Now left one more week...starting with a maths and geog on mon, then maths paper 1, then....... alot more, cant be bothered to remember...Just muz ren for one more week then can play liao...Wooo...Went to amk library yesterday with yc and alvin to study for todays physics and maths paper 2. Aiya, the maths paper i got no time to complete but i hope that i can pass with a B3 ba... Then the physics neh, the paper look so easy but i forgot all the formula but i still remember formulas like P=IV and V=I^2R... The more difficult ones i forgot liao... Jiat lat... Then the rest of the questions i anyhow do liao.Then on thurs the english paper the second passage the question ask to do a summary on the whole passage, i read and read still no key points that i can pick up from the passage leh.. bo pian then anyhow choose.

Exam starting next monday.Waa sian ar... Cannot do alot of things and must always study, study, study... Zzz ... I hope that it can quickly come and go... Last week, leau told us that there will be a chem test during supplementary class... It was chapter 1-21... I thought to my self.... waaa this time jiat lat liao... so many topics to study how to study finish? Iwas prepared to fail.Must also study sec 3 and 4 work... Bo pian lor...But in the end, she still let us to open the chem textbook cos too many qn we dunno how to do liao... haha... But at least i still knew how to do the first 2 qn... I have started revising on a few subjects, hope that i will pass all subjects this time =)
